HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

July 12th last year 2:31a.m. after 21 hours of hard labor we finally were able to meet our little Jameson; and now...

Our little boy is a year old! He has grown so much this last year! To think from a pregnancy that 'was not a possibility' to a premie with digestive problems, and now a happy, healthy, lovely, intelligent, strong willed toddler. He is such a blessing and brings so much joy to our family.
We had a party for him in Payson for the Cronin relatives and one in Surprise for the Walkers. It was so nice to spend time with family!
Pizza Party in Payson with yummy cupcakes!

BEACH PARTY!!

We had BBQ Beef, baked beans, fruit, chips and salsa...and of course CUPCAKES!

YUMMY!!!

Crafty!

My mother-in-law wanted to redecorate her patio. I was enlisted to help so off we went. We found a great deal on furniture at Goodwill (it was 50% off day). We found a bench, towel rack, and shelf for $30!

She wanted a rug but we couldn't find anything that matched the color scheme. So we headed to Wal-Mart... and for $14 we made this...

out of place mats and duct tape. It is sooo cute in person and matches beautifully! I am excited for us to finish so we can post the final results. We are so crafty!

Little Prodigy

Every afternoon (almost) while we are waiting for Jason to get home from work we have 'piano time'. It give me a chance to practice (although most of the music I can actually play is in storage) as well as Jameson to 'help' and appreciate the piano as an instrument not a toy. He is doing really well at not trying to destroy it. While I play he 'sings' along it is sooo CUTE!! These are some of the pics that April took when she was here on Saturday.
I'm trying to concentrate!!

How was that?!

Ha Ha!

Thank you, thank you!

This last one is my favorite! Isn't he just too adorable?!

Little Swimmer

With the arrival of 100+ degree temperatures pool season has officially begun. We weren't sure we wanted Jameson in the pool this early (especially with his lung & bronchial issues) the first day I handed him off to Jason in the pool, Jameson screamed and panicked before his toes were in the water. A few days later I sat on the side with my feet in and him on my lap (Jameson not Jason) he did well but cried when anyone splashed even a single drop on him. I took him inside and dressed him in one of his swim sets (he has like 12) and we got in VERY SLOOWWWLLYYY. He clung to me the entire time and freaked out if I attempted to loosen his death grip on me. The next day we repeated much of the day before. We sat on the side with just our feet then slowly got in. Barb bought a little baby boat float (WAAYY CUTE!!) we put him in that and he lounged around (that's the picture). Today, Jason only had to work in the morning so we went for a family swim. We put Jameson in the boat float again and he started kicking! It was so fun to see him propel himself through the water. We played catch and toss (that kids has quite the arm)! He did get a little too much sun on his face. I need to find a waterproof sunhat for him since the sunscreen doesn't seem to be strong enough. We will see what tomorrow brings!
"Just keep swimming!"

Perfect Mother's Day

I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband and adorable son! They gave me the best mother's day weekend ever! I really don't know if it can ever be topped. We left Friday morning, drove up to Payson and visited with my grandma, then went to the care center to check in on grandpa (he is not doing well since his surgery). We then drove up to Bison Ranch in Heber. Friday night we had pizza with my mom and dad then went back to the resort, put the baby to bed and watched a movie. I was so happy that Jameson slept all night!
Saturday morning, we had breakfast at mom and dad's (I LOVE SPECIAL!!!) then we went to Snowflake and did some shopping (it took longer to drive than to shop) Jason needed new temple pants and we had to get milk (really exciting huh?). That evening April and Nikki came over and watched Jameson while Jason and I went to the temple. We were running very late and were worried we wouldn't make the last session. With three minutes to spare we drove up I ran in and asked if we could change and be ready in time. We were told they could hold the session for us or if we liked we could do sealings. I had wanted to do sealings originally but we didn't have names ready. It was such a beautiful experience. The first couple had been waiting since 1826 for their family to be together. I began crying as I was so overcome with gratitude. How blessed are Jason and I that we didn't have to wait almost 200 years to have our family sealed. We have our forever family now. It really humbled me and has prompted me to work on my family history more fervently.
Sunday was a beautiful day. Jameson made a bag and Jason bought me the David Archuletta cd (I think he is the cutest thing-aside form Jameson that is!) I had french toast, strawberries, and oranges for breakfast-YUMMY! We headed over to mom and dad's for our missionary phone calls. Anthony was first up, it was great to hear from him! He said that the most popular dish is chicken and rice, he still hadn't met his mission president, and they take taxis everywhere. After church Michael, Dad, Billy, and Jason made dinner. It was sooo good! John called after dinner, Val is doing well, her due date is June 15th now. Allen's call was around 6. It was so good to hear from him! He is excited to come home but really wants to stay. He loves the people and the work so much! We are excited for him to meet Jameson (he has now added 'ala'=allen to his budding vocabulary). We had Angel food cake and strawberries for dessert. My mom gave Jameson a small bite of cake and before we knew it he had eaten an entire piece by himself (Jason can attest to that not being a fun diaper to change).
On Monday I met Nikki at her salon and got my hair cut, just a trim really but a much needed one. We stopped by my mom's school to say goodbye then we took lunch to grandma at work on our way out of Payson. We arrived home Monday afternoon and tried swimming but Jameson didn't think that was a good idea. It was such a wonderful restful weekend. Jason said he didn't know how to top it I don't think it needs to be topped just replicated. I spent the weekend with my two favorite guys. Talked with all my brothers, chatted with my mom, sister, aunt, & grandma. Took a nap and attended the temple. It was perfection! Thank you to my two favorite guys! I love you!

Ladies and Gentlemen...we have an announcement!

Jameson finally has a tooth! After months of teething (about 7 months) his first tooth finally ruptured (bottom left)!! I tried to get a picture but the little stinker wouldn't open his mouth...at least it's a cute picture! Now we just have to wait for all the others to join in (oh goody)!
